This is kind of exciting. Italy’s new(ish) national airline, ITA Airways, has just taken delivery of its first Airbus A350. That also means we finally get to see what ITA’s new cabins look like!

The Planes look really good in real life. Saw one at Amsterdam a few weeks ago and was surprised how good the plane really looked.

I never had any doubts about the livery, even the rendering. It’s Bellissimo! Hoping I can book my October trip with ITA on this plane! Exciting stuff for sure.

So is there any way to book these seats, or any ITA seats, with miles? Skymiles, Flying Blue, Etihad Guest?

I get they are also going the LH route, with just taking the existing seats and then putting different finishes on them. Just want to see what they will do with the existing A330 ex-Alitalia product.

Any idea when we’ll be able to start adding ITA ff #s to delta bookings? I recently tried (last wk) for an upcoming trip in June but to no avail, either through app or via multiple representatives in the Delta side.

LAX-FCO has been bookable for quite some time, at least via Google Flights. I planned to use it this July, but they/DL were charging a pretty hefty premium, over doing a 1stop at JFK (~$3300 vs ~$5900), so just took the latter.
