Velocity pooling has been great for me, I can pool my status points with my partner so we maintain one of us as gold, rather than silver which really doesn't give much benefit in the program.

Also, a key thing for many readers here is that you are only eligible to join the program if you live in Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Cook Islands, Vanuatu, Tonga, Solomon Islands, Samoa, Christmas Island or Cocos Island.

James. As a Velocity Platinum I’ve used this for years. Regularly pooling my points from family members travelling from Europe to Australia on Etihad. As you know , one of the key rules is your “ family “ have to all live at your address. Lucky for me I have a lot of “ family “ that “ live “ at my address..........
