Fiji Airways 737's Epic Journey To Europe

Over the weekend a Fiji Airways Boeing 737 operated a four segment journey from Nadi to Teesside, which saw the plane flying for nearly 24 hours.

Does the leasing company send a crew to Fiji to fly it back? Or does Fiji have to figure out a way to get it's crew back home?

they probably just put the crew on regular passenger flights home.

Watch Matt Guthmiller's taking a DC-3 across the atlantic on youtube. He stops in Greenland and Iceland and Scotland. Very interesting and well edited. As well as the radio communications with other planes!

Some great pictures out there from when HA had its 717's delivered to Hawaii. Not complicated as far as routings go, but they have to take out the interiors and install fuel bladders since California to Hawaii is further than the range of the plane.

Flew this bird MEL-NAN and again on the return flight in July '99. It must have racked up quite a few miles over the years

I know Willis leased a couple of hangers at Teesside a few months ago, so presume they held the aircraft lease.
