The Irish government is being very unrealistic. I side completely with Ryanair on this issue. Well done Ryanair!

By the way, if you think Ireland is bad, look at Austria. Their list hasn't been updated so long that it became completely random at this point - out of 6 EU states on their list, 5 had lower number of new cases per capita in the last 14 days than Austria itself, in some cases significantly (Sweden has a THIRD of Austria's new cases per capita but still remains on the red list). Meanwhile, out of 8 EU states that actually have more new cases than Austria, only one made it to the list. You are free to come from CZ with their skyrocketing numbers, but god forbid you go to Croatia where cases have been constantly dropping for several weeks...
These border closures have been proven, over and over again, to achieve nothing. It's time to get rid of this absurdity, at least for intra-EU travel.

Lack of humor is what really destroys a society.
Even a serious subject can have humor and Ryanair was making fun of how the government was handling regulations.
Border closures and quarantine have largely proven to be completely useless.
In the Netherlands a recent study came to the result travel bans haven't influenced Covid spread by one bit.
Sadly many governments play darts these days even putting countries on the risk list which have way fewer infections than themselves. Take Germany for example. Basically they have declared the whole world a danger zone (with a few political exceptions such as China or Canada).
I really can't hear that "by traveling you kill people!" rhetorics you have in Germany for months already anymore....
