I stopped believing in letter of intents after Garuda signed an LoI for 90 jets, including 30 A350s, 30 787s and 30 737 MAX, and finalized none.
Airbus seems to be doing alright
These airplanes are intended mainly for EgyptAir Express, replacing their fleet of Embarer E170s which they plan to phase out starting from 2018.
