A seat like Lufthansa Allegris would be possible actually. Swiss will introduce Swiss Sense (Allegris version of Swiss) on the A330 initially.

@ Reyyan -- Ah, good point. Let me update the post to reflect that. I can't help but wonder just how tight that product will feel...

Maybe LH should focus on updated their own planes and those of Austrian and Swiss first. Just saying since those updated were announced as far back as 7-8 years ago. I can just hear LH management discussing Discover.....lets announce a great new business class and then we will implement it in 2030 after we finish half the Allegris updates on LH.

2027 !?
Is that Allegris 2.0?

(admittedly I read this in another forum, but found it brilliant)

Absolutely. The expansion of Discovery and Edelweiss are at the expense of Star Alliance recognition. Yes, UA is still within, but only if booked with LH/LX code.

Chance is in 2027 it will still be Allegris 1.0, discarded by LH as obsolete and transferred to "Holiday Airline".

i did / do really not understand why SWISS did not pull that line after all the mess with Allegris became evident— SWISS C and F as they stand were much better than in LH, with still some life in them
