So “I’ll pay YOU to hire ME.” Yeah, that’s not the way the game is played…

These companies needs to stop giving corporate America new ideas....
Soon someone like Musk is going to start asking fanboys and girls to contribute to "work" at his company and a yearly contribution to his pay package.

Maybe the CEO of Global Airlines fancies his chances, perhaps engage in a JV or code-share agreement to sweeten the deal.

The Global Airlines CEO just got married and is on his way to the honeymoon.

First A380 of Global Airlines meanwhile is apparently progressing through maintenance, repair, overhaul. After having flown from desert storage in the US to Glasgow-Prestwick. Which funnily enough was the most tracked flight on Flightradar ever.

Just a scam in which the scam finds a new way to scam people. Flying 747s wrapped in some brand is going to make flying 747s profitable. I think a baggage handler could figure that one out.

You know, I would if I hadn’t just gotten that call back from Baltia.

For the record, that Global Airlines flight was not even close to being the most tracked flight ever. James Asquith posted a screenshot at the time of the flight you’re reffering to having about 50k views on Flightradar24. Queen Elizabeth’s final flight had about 6mil views by multiple accounts.

What happens when the wrap starts peeling off at 35000ft?

This might be the bullet that ends it all.

Something like this is so close to a Ponzi, the feds might actually shut it down for good.

Depends on who you ask, Airbus or Akbar Al Baker.

I hope not, I love the reporting on these airlines. Just when you forget they "exist" Lucky writes another article

Everyone RELAX 🙂 This is Avatar Airlines. You board the "plane", get comfy in your seat as the flight technician places the virtual reality headset on you. Depending on the package you ordered, you may experience an excellent oak aged chardonnay, or a domestic Mad Dog 20 / 20, while awaiting your dinner service. Which may be a Lobster bisque or chili dog and fries.

Once you "land", your private car will be waiting to transfer you by limousine to the Four Seasons in Hawaii or by Prius to the Hotel 6 in Elkhart, Indiana.

It's Avatar Airlines, "Where your vacation can be ANYTHING you IMAGINE!"

Is that a scheme for wealthy foreigners to get a green card?

Plane wraps have been in use for decades. That's about the only reasonable part of this scheme.

While this plan was ludicrous enough in 1992, it's funny that they're still trying to pretend this is a thing after 747 production has already ended. Even if they somehow managed to raise the capital for this, where would they get the 747s? Are they going to start buying 30-year-old retired 744s out of the boneyard? Or somehow convince Lufthansa to sell their 747-8s? Or maybe their plan is to just convince Boeing to re-open the 747 line just for their fake company? I guess with all of the other crazy aspects of their "business plan," that would seem less unreasonable by comparison.

I hear Vasu is looking for a gig. Wonder if they can move their base to El Paso.
