That's a nope for me, dawg. Standard 3:1, so even with the bonuses that almost makes it 2:1. As Ben mentions, Amex, Chase, etc., standard 1:1 to Aeroplan is far better (and occasionally have transfer bonuses, too). Then again, with Marriott's devaluations, closer to 0.6 cpp these days, I guess maybe this could work if you've been Bonvoy'd into submission and 'want out.' Still, Aeroplan isn't 'great' either these days, since they've gone full-SkyPesos and don't have great partner F/J anymore.
I guess based on your valuations of United at 1.3 and Aeroplan at 1.4 there is a rough equivalency with this deal - 30k United vs. 28k Aeroplan. There is an opportunity to buy Marriott points right now at 0.81 and get United points for 1.62. That's somewhat interesting for United points, but given the number of Aeroplan transfer partners, pretty uninteresting for Aeroplan.
It's interesting that Marriott starts to offer transfer bonus to Aeroplan again. The last time that was offered was May of 2022, more than 4 years ago. The bonuses used to be larger, though, in the range of 20-35%.
Weird - the first graphic makes it look like it should be,
60k Marriott into 25k*1.15 Aeroplan miles
So 28,750 miles, not 28,000.
But the second graphic contradicts this.
