It’s rare to see a frequent flyer program offer a significant bonus just for registering, so this is pretty noteworthy. That’s especially true when you consider that this is potentially enough miles for a one-way award.

Fun fact: you can add up to five friends/family members/spouses to your frequent Traveller (silver or above) account and these 6k miles will travel into the „together account“.
Not sure though if you can keep the miles in the together account once you remove the person.

Lucky, Can you clarify?
Do you need to fly 1 paid Aegean flight every 5yrs or just credit a partner flight to keep the account alive?

Same here. And I was just about to book flights to Thessaloniki last night but fell asleep. Glad I saw this before doing so.

@ Steve

My understanding its that you can transfer to another member for a EUR15 fee (receiving up to 50,000 miles (per year)).

However, you can only make this transfer if you have activity in your account (e.g. accrued Aegean miles on an Aegean or Star* flight) - so you can't simply sign up a coterie of friends and family and transfer multiples of 6,000 miles to yourself.

Hopefully, somebody can prove this wrong!

PS. The "together account" may be a way around this, but requires Silver or Gold status (see comment from @ FirstClassEndre below).

Did that and the 6K miles are in the account immediately. But got an email from ffprevention, supposedly from the airline. It requests:
In this context, we would like to proceed in the authentication of your M+B account details. Therefore, we kindly ask you to forward us the below, as an attachment, by replying to this email:

Photo of your national ID
Photo of any utility bill which validate the shipping address under your M+B profile

Anyone got the same - is this real or scam

The owner of the Together account keeps the miles if they remove someone from it. Source: personal experience.

In theory you could line up a bunch of friends to make new accounts, add people to gain the miles, remove them & add others to gain their miles, and so forth. I would expect them to be watching for things like that.
