It is great that it maintains jobs, but whoever photoshopped that bird needs to be fired as quickly as LH dropped Niki!
Niki Lauda cannot be stopped.
He started Lauda Air and sold it, for a profit, to Austrian.
Then he started Niki and sold it, for a profit, to Air Berlin.
Now he’s doing it again.

Is it just me or is the name in a lighter shade of red than the Logo and feusilage. Looks like the person took an image and put the branding on it on powerpoint.
Will they share Condor flight number? So I may credit the flights to AS mileage plan?
I'm equally very glad to see Niki rise from the ashes. Being based in ZRH, I would like to add that I'm very pleased to see flights from BSL and ZRH being scheduled as well. I was actually willing to book into one of their first flights out of ZRH.
However, the flights are not (yet?) bookable online. According to travelinside.ch they seem to partner with Thomas Cook for the Swiss market. But I've never heard of any Thomas Cook agency or operation in Switzerland, I'm afraid. If I were a business consultant, I would stongly advise to partner with existing distribution channels ...
Would love to see operations eventually expand back to long haul. Lauda was an innovator in their time. As an example, along with Ansett, they were one of the first to have the on-board chef concept.
The original airline name caused endless mirth amongst people from India / Hindi speakers and glad to see that will continue.
This is rather an interesting development in the Etihad/Airberlin/Niki story.

So, Niki (Lauda) does it again! Selling the same airline twice is unbelievably smart.
