Lufthansa has launched its latest promotion on purchased miles, which is in line with the best such promotions we’ve seen from the program. While I’d argue that this is niche, it has the potential to be a good value, especially given that this is a points currency that can otherwise be hard to accrue.

Not related, but Lufthansa has just updated the Economy Class website to show the new Economy Class tableware presentation on Long Haul Flights: https://www.lufthansa.com/ar/en/during-your-trip/food-and-beverages/menus-travelclasses/menus-economy-class#long
Also, the menu now shows the new FOX changes. Only ultra-long-haul flights (like LAX to MUC) receive 3 choices for dinner, and 2 choices for breakfast. Shorter long-haul flights (like IAD to MUC) still have 2 choices + a hot snack for breakfast.
Good luck using them via Miles and More website. No matter what I do, I get an error message when trying. I called them and they said it is happening to most people. they are "working on it".
Thanks but no thanks. They always had a ridiculous co-pay in 'J' transatlantic. But lately it's been 80K miles plus > $ 1,200 co-pay. I even regret getting their CC, and I have even blocked LH from my award search engine. Meanwhile I booked LH MUC to DEN in 'J', and UA DEN to OGG for 80K miles plus $ 150 on the UA site for next July.

It shows a 30% bonus for me on the U.S. site and a 40% bonus on the Canadian site link in the article. I do not have M&M status. Why am I not seeing the 60% offer?
Avoid buying. Lufthansa has a very restrictive policy when it comes to booking Award tickets which they conveniently do not disclose and neither does this article expose. Easy to buy miles since you are spending cash but difficult to spend to buy a ticket. When trying to book with Award miles, more often than not you will see the following, Award seat/booking not available for this flight! Additionally they will also restrict booking on newer aircraft when offering Award tickets if the sector is flown with both newer and older aircraft. Finally even when they offer Award seats on certain limited flights they will restrict these to only Economy, Premium economy and Business will not be offered.
It was showing the 60% bonus for me (Germany) yesterday. Now it's capped at 50%
