There are baths in the FCT. I just saw a shower. No ducky for me. Hope your bags turn up. I have one missing from 1993 (LHR-LAX) when BA decided not to load 30% of the planes cargo. If you see a brown leather bag with now retro garb pick it up for me would you 🙂

You don't really take a bath in the FCL, do you?

Don't forget your dad at least has his First Class LH pajamas! I hope the luggage situation will be fixed soon.

Ahh how the mighty have fallen (not you, Lufthansa). The great food, the tarmac rides in premium German engineering, the fanciness - undone with a simple failure to re-route baggage.

@lucky, thank you for agreeing to send the missing 7th duck to me. Should I email you my address?

@lucky I never thought you were writing about lost lugagge with LH BUT try to enjoy travelmagic as well... In the meantime good look whith those whom people call 'EU compensation' just read a few post from Lufthansa wall in fb and you will see the 'dark side of customer service'... I really love lh as you but sometimes I feel that customers deals with ghost behind a computer screen

Claiming compensation can be a pain, but it can be done (and without a lawyer). Just do your research beforehand, provide documentation (e.g. I had screen shots from my iPhone showing the delay and the reason: "aircraft maintenance"). Be very clear, set a deadline, and don't be afraid to go to small claims court if necessary.

Ah I thought both of you were aiming to reach TPE by 9/18 to fly that inaugural Hello Kitty flight but obviously that's not the case. Regardless of all this, I'm confident you're enjoying your time together. Safe travels!

One agent working the SLG lost baggage desk would be about right for the size of the airport. Not sure what your complaint is. LH lost all of our bags (and many others) into BUD this spring and there was one agent there as well. Took three days to get our bags back and some imaginative shopping for emergency clothes. All in all we made lemonade out of lemons. In that spirit I would have devoted your post to your SLZ hotel or the city itself as a new arrival rather than dwelling on your lost bags. More interesting for your readers and definitely more fun to compose. Enjoy Salzburg a great city and visit Hallstatt if you have a chance.

All your ducks in a row. Me, I only count 6. Where'd little Duckie #7 go? Must be swimming.

Just did the same trip to Salzburg last May. That area is stunningly beautiful. Our plane was identified as Austrian Air operated by Tyrolean Airlines. I believe they are all owned by LH. No issue with our baggage just that it was very strange to board a bus to get on the flight back to FRA when the plane was right outside the terminal......Also, the color scheme inside the Fokker 100 was very, um 70's........

Wow, LH screwed big time. Your Mastercard, Amex or Visa should be able to compensate. Not sure which one you used.

About why taking baths in public places is a very risky idea.
Google Interstitial Cystitis. It is a nasty, nasty virus you can catch even in a hot jacuzzi, and usually due to poorly disinfected tubs etc. It has no cure and medication response is not that great. Hope reading this helps you make an informed decision next time.
