In 2024, we saw Lufthansa’s new Allegris passenger experience take to the skies, several years behind schedule. With these cabins flying, it’s understandable that people actually want to experience this product, and see what it’s like.

Lay down the pen, Ben. Love your site, but writing about grey matter…. Relax bro. Enjoy your family. I know you can’t help it, but no one cares about Alligross…. Tough crowd. Xo is this thing on

I flew in this seating configuration out of San Francisco into Munich. Did they pull the flight?

Since 2024 and only 10 A350 and 9 B787.

With no current plan to start retrofit anytime soon.

A very Lufthansa style fast rollout.

It will probably be till 2035 at the earliest before retrofit of current B787 and A350 will be retrofitted.
By that time the tech and design of the alegris will be 2 decades old like the current seats.

They actually have 11 787s with allegris. Two have been delivered this March but not yet in service. The 12th is being delivered this week. By the end of the year they’ll have 22 787s with allegris which is essentially the number of A340-300s and A330-300s they currently have in the fleet

I thought Toronto was supposed to be one of the early destinations?

I am flying LH470 FRA-YYZ on May 20, 2026 on a 787-9 listed on the Lufhansa website and seating plan as Allegris, so they are flying to Toronto.
