Goodness, one of the runways at Germanys second biggest airport seems to be having a rough couple of days, after back-to-back incidents.
Nothing nefarious going on here; but I will continue to fly from FRA.
Probably woke eco lights in socialist green Germany.
Since 2006 with a three year interruption Germany had a CDU chancellor with the secretaries responsible for infrastructure being CSU.

MUC is my home airport and its truly strange for this airport to be featured twice in the news within one week, for the wrong reasons.
In fact, I am booked to fly one of the refurbished LH A380s in the next couple of weeks. I wonder how will the incident impact the refurbished A380 allocation. I wonder if my flight, which was meant to be with one of the refurbished A380s, will still get a refurbished A380s or the old configuration one?

Widen the runway to twice the width and there will be plenty of room .
Off topic but has there been any updates to LH F redemptions completely blocked for partners? Hoping it’s only a seasonal thing…
@ John -- Sadly there have been no additional updates, so my guess is it's not seasonal. 🙁
I flew in and out of MCU last February, due to a ski trip. It's a neat little airport in a great area. As to y'all talking about coincidences, there are none. Munich's airport has only one runway, because it's not that large. Hence all of the runway incidents will happen on it.
Jeff, you must be thinking of somewhere else. Munich Airport is a large hub and has two runways: 08L-26R and 08R-26L. Both are 4,000m long.

As I am reading your humorous line, we are sitting on our plane in FRA. TO ME IT IS WORST Airport for connecting. We landed from HEL and they parked us on tarmac at area B. Took us by bus to term 1B. Took 20 minutes to walk to A64. When flight to Malta was called, we walked downstairs to another bus and was taken back to area B( or is it area 54.
