I do have to say although I travel very frequently I don't often book jet blue. I'm just no a general fan. However I was blown away by a recent e Perrin EI had with them. A flight I took with them was diverted to Albany due to weather - they should never have taken off from Florida. I had to scramble to get a taxi to Amtrak for the three hour trek to MANHATTAN. JetBlue gave all passengers $209, plus paid for my taxi AND my Amtrak ticket to NYC. I could only imagine the small bag of peanuts Delta would have given me.
Kudos to B6. It's a shame that Jetblue isn't part of an alliance or offer any type of real international service (outside of Caribbean and Central America), because their onboard product offerings are so much better than all other legacies in North America. Always happy to fly them, but don't do it consistently due to route network limitations.
I've noticed this- they were adding it on their Embraers (weirdly, their Mint a321t's were the last to have it) and loved it. FlyFi is definitely a killer feature on JetBlue.
Also, looks like they got rid of the FlyFi+ plan on my last few flights- just the free option.
Very cool to see this. Assuming their wi-fi works well I would this this is something that provides increased customer satisfaction and not much increased cost.
The question I always ask though - will passengers pay for JetBlue and their free wifi, free tv, better snacks, better service? Or will they continue to book Frontier and Spirit to save $5?

It is crazy that JetBlue has faster free wifi than paid wifi Gogo wifi on other carriers. Jetblue has some of the best perks now:
Best legroom in regular coach
Best wifi
Best free snacks
Best boarding process
Some of the best elite perks
I'm curious, does the Gate-to-Gate service perform well? Understand it uses satellite technology, and all those turning at taxi, and banking at take-off can affect performance.
