Any glitches yet with the AA and US Airways merger yet? Personally I'm headed to New Zealand for a fortnight, taking some long needed vacation days!
I have been traveling today on American and have not had any problems. I did print paper boarding passes as a back up but have not needed them.
Also just to note all FA's and ground crew I've interacted with today have been really nice and friendly, starting at LAX thru DFW and now in DEN. Even all the Admiral's Club employees have been super friendly. Maybe they sent out a company wide memo after the "Tim incident" earlier this week.
I learned something new today also, LAX is not a 24 hour airport, I got to the AA terminal at 3:15am and security was not open. They started letting us thru at about 3:30-3:45. I never would have guessed that, I mean it's Los Angeles!
Lol stay in Chicago. The weather in LA is ok this weekend, but I see it's heating up again during the week. It's only hitting 84, but still, I'm getting really sick of this unrelenting heat.
Oh, you know, just hitting Gold 75k on Alaska. Will be nice after a year of only soft landing MVP.
At DFW right now. No major problems to report. Can't get my connecting boarding pass via the AA app but other than that pretty smooth so far. Crew on my LGA-DFW flight were super friendly. I think Tim has everyone shook as stated above. But also the pax on this flight were very very chill. Flying Saturday afternoons is worlds different than during the week.
