Uh, isn’t opening an Amex Aspire the easiest route to (former) top-tier Diamond status? Doin’ it mostly for the free breakfasts anyway. Like, use the free night award wisely, and it pays for itself. $50 United Travel bank each quarter helps, too. Find a way to use the $200 resort credits each six months and it’s practically a money-maker card.
Irrelevant but Canada just lifted restrictions on the number of Emirates and Saudia flights, feels like a big change is coming in North American aviation.
Interesting. Like, how much can YYZ, YUL, YVR take? I suppose they could also ramp up at YYC, YOW, YHZ, YEG, too. Everywhere else is not really a major airport. Did they lift for AY, QR, AI, others?
I guess it has more to do with the countries the airlines are based in rather than specific airlines, it’s very possible that other major GCC carriers would follow.
I think Hilton may have changed the rule about a status match only being once per lifetime. The website now says "Members are eligible to participate in the Hilton Honors B2B Status Match once per year."
