Well, 5k etihad miles can get you one-way ticket within gulf region 🙂 To Oman for example!
Did the miles post to your regular account of only to the business connect account? I'm thinking if the miles would post to my regular account I could also do a status match with them for some decent flights.
For shame, using a miles shopping site! Anyway, I think a better use is their partnership with the elusive Bangkok Airways which has exclusive routes out of BKK that they charge quite a bit of cash for, e.g. LPQ.
I successfully signed up using your "trick". Terms & Conditions say up to 10 days to recieve miles...So I await 🙂
