Always nice to get PJ in J. These look comfy and stylish enough to take home. Will try to request it on my next EK flight. EK, LH, and CX are my favorite F PJs.

Very nice. Too bad the JFK-MXP flight doesn’t qualify at just under 8 hours. Would be nice for the overnight flight.

I remember years ago, you still got a pair of pajamas on CX on YVR-JFK albeit in F. And if you were coming all the way from HKG, you got a second pair as you had to disembark in YVR.

PERFECT timing!

Flying them from JFK to CGK in a bit over 2 months!

Maybe I can retire my Qantas and AA ones now.

It was a good way to stock up on CX F PJs. I went to the shop in HK with the coupon that came with CX's PJ to buy more, but the organic cotton version was exclusively available inflight.

I was so excited when I read the headline and am now sad. I am slightly hopeful they might distribute them since the flight does continue onto dubai but I doubt it.

How about they introduce direct aisle access on their 777s? No set of PJs will entice me enough to endure dozens of hours in their godforsaken 2-3-2 business class

Seriously? Now? What were you doing so far? Qatar airways has it for over a year now. I honestly think Emirates is overhyped airline. They don’t come anywhere close to service, quality of Qatar!

I’m afraid it’s not the way you think. Surely you have the understanding that QR’s unparallelled reputation comes at the cost of the wellbeing of its employees? I haven’t heard as many sordid tales from the Emirati airlines, EK and EY, as I have from Qatar.

That said, EK does seem to be acting a bit like BA at times — we’ll have the world’s best F product but we won’t roll it out on more than nine planes for nine years (until, ahem, 2026). At least BA manages to do ‘just about enough’ in J, but EK’s J on the 777 remains as woeful as it was a decade ago… but EK knows that their cachet and brand recognition is immense, so they see no need to change. Show them the glamour and they will come by the dozen.

JFK-MXP doesn't qualify, but EWR-ATH is over 9 hours both directions...

Meanwhile their economy is to be brutally honest, sub par at best. Adding insult to injury, emirates have become over reliant on their brand and charge exorbitant fares.

Learn from Air India business class..they provide pyjamas even for 4 hours on flying time and the price is very comparative...services are much better than other airlines..

I've said it all along, emirates is an overcrated airline. And do these PJ pants have pockets?

Finally Emirates have been shamed in to providing pyjamas for business class. It's only been 7 years since qantas code share passengers started asking for pyjamas on over night flights. Perhaps so many passengers wearing Qatar night gear prompted Emirates to wake up .now they need to fix business class on their 777s as it's no longer competitive

Pajamas will be nice. Why only for 9 hr flights? I can understand for flights less than 4 hours but if you are competing the Qatar style they are gracious and gives for flights less than 9 hours.
My real and recent disappointment is the 2 3 2 seat configuration in the 777 business class for some airlines. No privacy and the seat/ bed is too cramped.

Bit of a first world problem and not very planet friendly tbh but who wrote an article spelling pyjamas pajamas?

Bit stingy still. Flights over 9hrs? Hold on, most ex-Europe flights are about 6.5hrs, especially from the UK and Scandinavian countries and you can easily get some sleep time on that length of flight……but no, no PJ’s for us!

I have flight from DXB to IAH (16.35hours)on 1/2/2024. No any pajamas or even any information about this but there has eyelashes with the new pack already. I will ask about my pajamas to aircrews on the returning flight 3/2/2024 (including pajamas for the first flight also ).

Checked with Emirates that if you have a connecting flight that would bring the total hours above 9 hours it would not count too.

Looks nice from the picture. If we are all in our jarmies we might get mistaken for the surgical operating team taking a break before starting their next case
Not really, I am soooo looking forward to my pjs cause I always travel BC EK & this next trip will see me in the gear.

Would like to have heard that any overnight flight would get the full set. London to dubai overnight would be ideal for trying out the new pj's, nearly 7 hours pj's would be nice. Maybe they could consider all night time flights to get these.

Recently flew Dubai to Auckland, the pyjama’s are superb, best feature is the hoodie which is soft and slinky.
Wish I took up the offer by hostess to take extra set.

About time. When you fly with a partner airline which takes better care of their business class passengers it good to see Emirates making some effort.

Agreed and yes we need to be much more mindful of waste. I take mine and then ask fellow passengers for theirs if they discard then donate to the people who work mining sulphur in Bali or make salt from sea water. The sulphur miners clothes deteriorate quickly.
