Delta Air Lines has been investing a lot in its lounge network lately, including expanding the network ofDelta Sky Clublocations, plus openingDelta One Lounges. The airline has nowopened its newest Sky Club, and it will more than double lounge capacity at one of the carrier’s hubs.

Delta SO SO SO SO needed this at SLC. I've always seemed to luck out when I've used the current lounge - no lines or anything. But upon exiting, my goodness, those lines were awful!
Well done, Delta; this was desperately needed.
The "old" lounge is very nice. It's crazy that Delta is dumping this much money into Salt Lake City when the Sky Club situation at its much busier hubs in Detroit and Atlanta is far worse. Detroit in particular. Two lounges plus a dedicated Delta One lounge at Salt Lake City seems like overkill unless Delta is planning some major expansions at SLC.
Compliments to the new SLC airport, in general. I remember the old disjointed terminals; these two massive new concourses are a work of art, and the seamless connection to rental cars, parking is excellent. Looking forward to routing through to checkout this new SkyClub in B. Things will really come together for Delta at SLC once they open a D1 lounge there.
I’ve also flown United outta there, and unfortunately, no one else has a lounge yet. The game-changer for non-DL will be once they open the new Amex lounge, supposedly later this year, but time is running out!
90% of Delta flights are A concourse. This is way out of the way (tunnel, no train) for most.
However with the concourse being a new build they could build what they wanted so might as well. Perhaps as the concourse finishes its last expansion next year and C concourse is added (way down the road) this will make more sense as delta may have more flights out of B.
Whole airport is a new construction so they are able to build what they want up front instead of spending many multiples more converting or adding to existing terminals

Those views of the mountains by the fireplace look pretty nice. I could see myself enjoying many a cheese cube there while relishing the fact that I’m about to fly on an airline with a higher RASM than United on transpacific flights.
Oh, speaking of Amex, their new lounge at SLC apparently opened today, 10/28/25.
