Virgin Atlantic's new A350-1000 will be their first plane to feature the new Upper Class seats, which look like a significant improvement over their current business class. Just a couple of days ago, Virgin Atlantic formally scheduled their first A350 flights. The airline will begin flying the A350 6x weekly between London Heathrow and New…

My only concern is subsequent aircraft changes of which flight gets the A350 after booking.

ah! I'm based in NYC and wish I could take advantage of these fares! Thank you for sharing though. I managed to snag an upper class seat in September a few days ago so am quite excited!!! 🙂

That's a very nice deal. I can't wait for the new cabins to show up on longer routes.

Anyone else not seeing the A350 on GF in March/April/May of 2020? I'm curious why they haven't loaded the plane through the end of schedule

Do these flights with starting/onward travel with BA actually exist? I see them come up on GF but I have never been able to actually get them to show up on Virgin. A couple years ago I tried to book a RT MIA-CDG on VS through the amex travel site and it wouldn't let me book it, called in to Amex and they couldn't book it on the phone either despite seeing the flights I saw, called Virgin directly and they told me the flights I was looking at didn't exist. What is the trick?

Sell those same fares to Inverness originating in Seattle and I'll see you on the Scotch Whisky Trail in September.

Is the interior really that weird purple color, or is that just a photo effect?

@ John Page

It’s “mood lighting”.

It’s a new “thing” and apparently we all like it.

Personally, I think it’s intended to distract you from how crappy their new J seat is compared to Qsuites, the new BA J seat being launched at the same time, etc...

@ Hi Aperture

try using an OTA like expedia.

I've often got flight combinations there that I couldn't get via the airlines own websites or phone lines

I'm also going to suggest that now the DL/VS/AK/KL JV is moving forward that there will be more options available using AF/KL ex europe and once VS gets FlyBe/VS connec sorted it will be even better
