I think it's right on time to fill the gap left by 9W for this routing. Still, I think an Atlanta flight would've been a nice alternative for transiting passengers
In what world is 135K miles for a one way business award to India "pretty good pricing." AA charges just 70K miles for the exact same award. This is classic sky pesos nonsense.
I know this is off-topic, but I noticed the departure time from JFK (21:16) and it reminded me. Can someone please tell me why the departure/arrival times in the US are to the exact minute instead of rounding them off to the nearest 5 minutes like I seem to notice everywhere else?
Skymiles sucks so bad, Delta would have to be SQ for me to fly them . I don’t even like flying Delta. I hated dealing the their micro comfort plus cabins. As a Diamond who booked Last minute I spent most my time in back middle seats. United sucks a little less since at least I get an aisle seat in Economy Plus.
Maybe Delta expects the route to fail, and then they will have one more reason to blame the ME3...
Who is going to be Delta's connection in BOM? 9W is gone and the remaining in India are budget airways. Without codeshare this route is not going to get anywhere.
These now-frequent 465k SM fares are a big part of the reason I'm cutting my DL360 spend in half or more this year. (Also, paid J fares seem completely bonkers too.)

i was shocked to see such service at this time when all the airlines are starving hard to improve service to succeed in this fiercely competing airline sector.
They were out of food at the start of the flight and flight attendant instead of being sorry were very Rude .. saying you should reserve or food upfront.
Flight was so dirty and flight attendants did not even bothered about it.
