Its disappointing but, we have Cap 1 which is unlimited and points never exp.
Btw, you ever managed to get back those points that you shared and were exp?
Whenever we actually regulate these programs, a baseline of transferability between your own accounts, and perhaps those within your household, seems sensible. With airlines and hotels, only some programs allow pooling (Aeroplan, jetBlue, etc.) The ones that charge you the literal breakeven 1 cpp to transfer are evil.
This is really annoying. I have 3 ThankYou accounts for 4 cards and I've already spent time on support trying to combine accounts but apparently that's not possible because of something to do with my middle name. So I sure hope they've fixed that since they aren't going to allow me to move points over any more.
I had the same issue when adding a 3rd card but the phone rep was able to combine them into 1 TY awards account rather quickly.
