I took advantage of this sale last year at Arizona and even with the pandemic restrictions it was a phenomenal experience to have a good couple of nights.

Blacked out the dates in December that I’ll be staying at AZ property. All good. Got a free upgrade to a suite as Explorist.
No idea why the lady agreed to do it, but no complaints.
Do Globalist benefits apply at Miraval? Specifically, upgrades and late check out?
When I went I got an "upgrade" to a normal room and they were very flexible on checkout; lunch on the last day is allowed and assumed. Don't expect anything for Globalist but they do acknowledge it. Last year when I went (during XMAS which is now blacked out), it was half capacity so they were super flexible with everything.
How do you guys book it? It takes forever to book it on the phone for using points?
I ended up taking advantage of this in early December at Miraval Berkshires.
- As others have noted, booking is annoying since you have to call Miraval during their business hours to set this up. I can’t quite tell if this is office house in Arizona, Austin or Lennox MA.
- I used a bunch of chase points to transfer into World of Hyatt. The four nights was 130k vs. what would be close to $5k after taxes considering meals and soft drinks are included.
- The hotel only gives credits for half the nights by default, I contacted World of Hyatt and got four nights instead of the two that posted helping to cement my Globalist requalification.
- You also only get the $175/per guest per day credit on half the days so we got $325 each per stay which worked but the spa treatments were pricey.
- I found that on the days the promotion was active, there were many activities that were canceled due to lack of signup. It’s a bit tricky to plan all your activities out, I suggest working with their specialists which I regret not doing
- Be mindful of mask mandates as the town of the resort. Lennox, MA had one in effect (and probably still does) as that can make some of the athletic activists indoor in the winter a little trying.
- The staff was awesome and the property is super cool, even in the dead of winter it would be fun. At Miraval Berkshires, you can stay entirely indoors if you like. The staff has some members who were furloughed from other Hyatt properties along with other great folks from the area.
- Miraval Berkshires will pick you up at Hartford (BDL) airport.
- The Miraval Berkshires is on the same property as the Wyndhurst Manor Club. The Miraval and the manor club share the same property but the Manor club has its own lodging, restaurants and golf course. Most of the manor club things were closed since it was the winter. Check out both properties on Hyatt’s website to understand it a little better.
