Agree it’s great card. Would be perfect if they did transfer bonus’s a bit more frequently. That’s the only downside

@Lukcy I have the card and it is a really solid overall. That said, they quietly got rid of their offers as a cash back % of the total purchase price and changed it to points multipliers.

StubHub, booking.com, retail were consistently 5-10% back, while still getting 2x points. The card is still a keeper, but it’s a pretty big change that changes the math a little bit.

Like others said, they need to up their transfer game. What is this 2 : 1.5 transfer ratio on Eva Airlines? Citi manages 1 : 1 with the same carrier.

LOL, wouldn't it be nice. I've been trying to get approved for this card for over a year. For some bizarre reason high income, perfect credit, no churning etc. isn't enough.

My experience with the Capital One Venture X has been nothing but aggravation and incompetence. The account was closed by the mistake of a service person. I was told it would take 2 weeks to correct the mistake made by Capital One. After 2 weeks I called only to learn there was nothing done to fix the problem. Meanwhile charges were being cancelled and we could not use the card. I called again 3 weeks later only to hear the service department is backed up and there’s nothing they can do even to correct their own mistakes. Finally almost 7 weeks after the card was closed we received a call that the account was being reinstated and they “were sorry for the inconvenience.” I asked a manager if there was anything Capital One could do for the time, inconvenience, aggravation and expense in correcting Capital One’s mistakes, and was told there was nothing they could do. When asked why there was no response from the manager. This was a series of incompetent and irresponsible behaviors by Capital One’s Venture X team, supposedly a high end card, and received only shabby service and no accountability for its own mistakes.
