Avatar Airlines Wants To "Buy" Thai Airways' 747s
Oh Avatar Airlines... First Avatar Airlines made British Airways an offer for its retired Boeing 747s, and now Avatar Airlines is making Thai Airways an offer for its Boeing 747 fleet that's in the process of being retired. Avatar Airlines is a startup that has been trying to get off the ground since 1992. One…

I hear that British Airways is having a fire sale on at least one of their 747's.
@Ben
Please bring back the livestream format from earlier this year. With the current surge of Covid cases there will be enough people at home right now and I'll bet you have some interesting stories to tell from your stay in Germany.
Add to your story the us government investigations of this fraudulent owner of avatar. This is all fake and those in the aviation field know this is just fake junk news not going anywhere.
Ben, you've been doing it wrong all this time... instead of a hotel/airline/points/CC blogger, you should be the founder of a startup airline, Lucky Air
Fly Lucky Air. The odds are in your favor.
🙂
@Quo Vadis he would not be able to use Lucky Air as his airline as there is already an airline called Lucky Air which is a LCC with Hainan Airlines as the parent company.
Can I interest anyone in shares of an up and coming Gold company called Bre-X Minerals?
I can provide 50% purchase discounts on offers over $1.
LMAO.....
Don’t worry, our glorious monarch, the divine King Rama X., will keep all of the 747s for his personal use — how else can he fly in/out his mistresses and send back poor Queen Suditha to Switzerland once he got bored of her? “We Love Them All The Same!” — May It Please Your Majesty, Cha Yo! 555
@Ben, you may want to check out Blu Sky Airlines. Just saw them popup in the last week, and they seem to have some ex-Avatar, er maybe still there, folks involved...
My only question is, are those behind the scheme actually benefiting from it? I can hardly imagine there are enough fools indeed investing it, but if nobody is buying this BS, why would the funders bother keeping it at the risk of government investigations?
This is not and will never be an airline. The guy running it is a convicted felon. He did this same type of fraud and served time for it. I guess he didn’t learn. I can’t believe the article doesn’t point that out.
Check out the offering memorandum on their website - https://avatarairlines.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/PPMREVISED111819.pdf
I particularly like the Felons and Other Bad Actors section on pp. 32-3.
There is a clue as to how serious they are in the name - AVATAR Airlines.
