(Full disclosure: Park Hyatt and American Airlines, sponsors of the Masters of Food & Wine Event, comped my airfare, hotel, and admission to the events)

FYI - Not only do all Admirals Clubs now offer complimentary beer/wine, they also offer complimentary liquor. It's the nicer stuff that the drink certificates are for.

Why do so many luxury hotels and airport clubs get internet so wrong? Good internet is arguably the most important thing to get right these days. Ten dollar hostels and small-town midwestern motels (and, indeed, McDonald's!) manage to almost always run fast, no hassle WiFi. Yet half the time you're at an expensive hotel or in an airport lounge, you first need to fiddle for a couple minutes with passwords and logons and "click here to confirm you've read the T&S" BS, often killing access on nontraditional platforms like Linux or smartphones, and then in the end the quality isn't even good.

Just sign up for broadband, stick some routers in enough places, and leave off all the passwords: how hard could this possibly be?

Transitting Miami is like being on a Stairmaster and playing sudoku at the same time.

I like this style of writing & You are getting good at it. ^

"Upon landing I called for the shuttle to the place where my car was parked. The guy in the shuttle asked me where I was coming back from. I said Argentina, at which point he scolded me for not speaking proper Spanish. He then proceeded to loudly talk on his cell phone (in Spanish) for the rest of the ride. You can guess what his tip was."

I laughed loud enough for the bartender at the United Concourse B, South Red Carpet Club to roll his eyes and then cut me off. Greetings from O'Hare and thank you Lucky.

The EZE AA Admiral's club looks like a palace compared to the EZE RCC, which is a dive.

These posts that are full of photos make it hard to browse all the articles in the blog. You might consider making them only appear for those who click through to the unique link for that particular posting.

But maybe I'm in the minority here, I don't know.

Wow, I said it the last time and simply HAVE to say it again. NOTHING about the AA experience makes me ever want to try their product. Am I missing something important?
