Done!!! Thanks, Ben for the heads up on this one. I had tax to pay and was looking for a new credit card for the SUB. But this beats that. My P2 will probably get the AMEX Marriott Brilliance card. 150K SUB, 50K Promo 1, 7,500 Promo 2, Minimum spend points 13,480 = 220,980 total points associated with sign up and meeting paypal promo. Not bad IMO.
personally id choose the 5x chase points over the 10x Marriott points. anyone disagree ?
I was not able to get the offer. AMEX told me only invitees can get the deal. 🙁
I just applied and got the Marriott Brilliant but the offer is sadly not showing on that card but is showing on my regular Marriott card which I was going to get rid of now that I got the Brilliant. I would assume if an airline takes PayPal as a payment then this offer would work to pay for a high priced flight and get the bonus points. Is this correct????? I have a $5k priced flight I need to book today and with the old Marriott card I would get the additional 40,000 PayPal bonus points.
Have you tried paying your taxes using PayPal (via Payusatax)? I've been trying for the past few days but cannot get PayPal to load to pay.
it was available to me on my marriott bonvoy app not on the amex offers page on there website
check your marriott app.. that is where i found it not on my amex app or website

The bonus points showed on my AmEx statement; however, they didn't post to my Bonvoy account when the standard spend and restaurant bonus points did post. Will have to call. Assuming this is a Bonvoy issue and not AmEx.
