Also, are the credit offers new or were them available before?
I applied for both Amex Delta Gold and Platinum last month but I´m not sure if it was included.
@Carlos: The credit offers are not new. I got the $100 credit on the Delta Platinum (+70k miles) nearly 2 years ago and got the $50 credit on Delta Gold (+60k miles) about 4 months ago. I had just closed a Delta Gold a few months before that but applied again with no lifetime language so got the full bonus again.
It’s not $1 but close...$2 for a pair of in fight headphones just yielded me a $100 credit on the delta platinum. I would have charged drinks etc. but with the new restrictions on the airline fee credits for Amex platinum I needed to put that card to work. Go figure I get the card needing the extra MQMs and a month later the bonus goes back up by 40K more points. Oh well.
Does following count for statement credit?
1. Buying miles
2. Cancelled tickets which gets refunded back to card
