Rakuten is great. But I always use the AA shopping portal for the Loyalty Points.
I submitted a ticket with Bilt to see whether the last 1:1 transfer date will be 2/15/26 or 5/15/26 (as six months from launch is 5/6/26), still waiting to hear back.
I admit I don't pay attention to whether points post or not, I have stayed over 80 nights with Marriott, some points, some paid and I always register with Rakuten on my browser. Nothing has posted since last year. I'm switching to Capital One Shopping.
I use Capital One shopping portal. So far it is better than AA, United or Chase shopping portals. The points are deposited straight away and they change all the time for every vendors which includes Hilton Hotels (up to 11x), Marriott Bonvoy, etc. Why even bother using credit card travel anymore?

Can you transfer them to airline programs or just get a DoorDash or other gift card?
Bilt apparently confirmed on Reddit that the 5-15-26 transfer date will also be 1:1.
And they also confirmed to me via email - so good news! 2/15/26 and 5/15/26 are both 1:1 transfers from Rakuten to Bilt.
I love Rakuten. I have earned about 95k points just doing things like one DoorDash delivery, various SoFi bonuses, crypto trading bonuses (I just do the minimum to earn the SUB) and a few other random things.
Plus various points from shopping, although that is way, way less.
And I hoping to do a SoFi loan for 25k and a few thousand for an Uber driver, plus there might be others as time goes by.
I collect MR points and will be using them for a high value Aeroplan redemption.
Using Rakuten to double dip on points earning is an absolute no brainer — I can’t recommend it enough!

For the last 6-7 years, I have averaged about 15,000 AMEX points per year from Rakuten. It is most definitely a competitive advantage for the AMEX ecosystem over Citi and Chase. Capital One's shopping portal is a strong competitor to Rakuten. Rakuten is better for some; Capital One is better for some others.
As I own my home free and clear, I don't have much interest in Bilt unless I could be convinced that it is superior for those who don't have a mortgage or pay rent.
