The AmEx Hilton Honors Business card IS NOT a business card. It's a glorified personal card. For small business owners like myself, you can't make a Hilton reservation with it for an employee unless the card will be present at check-in, virtually impossible unless I'm traveling with an employee...which in most instances in counter productive, i.e. if I have to be there, what do I need the employee for? Hilton's "solution" is to give out a bunch of AmEx cards to all the employees. What? So throw the burden back on the customer to now monitor all the employee cards? The other "solution" was to guess which hotels will require an authorization form, download it, complete the form, scan it into your computer and email it to the property. What? Guess which hotels enforce this? And you get to pay $195 a year for the privilege of being frustrated with Hilton and the inability to use this card which is the one recommended by AmEx and Hilton for small businesses. I'm sorry but if I can't make hotel reservations at Hilton properties with this card, this card makes ZERO sense. ZERO.
The best perks with this card have been removed; Priority Pass Lounge access and a free night at a Hilton property for every $15,000 in spend.
