@ Aaron -- I updated the post to reflect that, thanks. This was communicated to me by Amex, but I'm having the same issue. I assumed adding your Amex card would just automatically trigger the savings. I'll update the post once I learn more. My apologies!
Do Authorized users also get their own free membership trial or is it only for the primary cardholder?

Good Deal if you keep track of cc charges. they will start adding $12.00 plus to your cc the first chance they get and NO REFUNDS!
I registered for this in 2021 and kept it after I had to pay. Personally I like to go get a cup of coffee instead of always making a pot and this has a break even of about 4 cups a month if you pay for them. I prefer Starbucks to alternate but probably get 8-10 cups a month at Panera which is a great deal for the fixed monthly rate.
I predict the annual fee will go up and AMEX will offer a monthly Panera Beverage subscription credit.
Panera just gave me two months for free for perks week after so had all summer free. This is a great deal for me as a Panera is next to my office park.
The problem is not many Panera locations in New York. I literally just looked up, only two locations in midtown Manhattan.

Panera iced coffee is beyond disgusting and they should be paying us to drink it. Plus, a few months ago they were giving this "perk" to anyone who walked into Panera.
They still do. The game is how many months you can get this for 'free'.
While I do think they are paying me to drink. 😉 They are raising prices of everything quite often.
