You would think they wouldn't want to pass along news of their rival opening up a new lounge 🙂
@ Lucky - have you talked to Amex to get any ideas on how they decide where to open lounges? Is it based on a number of Amex Plat/Centurion cardholders, based on where US/AA clubs were used most, etc.?
@ Ivan Y -- I haven't asked, though it sure seems like they're wanting to open them at big United (Chase) and American (Citi) airports.
The problem in Miami is that most of the concourses are not connected post security. So either the lounge needs to be pre-security, or else it will be limited only to people traveling on selected airlines.
@ Carl -- All American flights leave out of the "D" concourse, which is massive. So by building it there they're properly targeting their main demographic, I'd think.
