Back in 1991 I was able to see the solar eclipse in totality on a flight from Acapulco to Mexico City. It was mere happenstance that my Dad and I happened to be inflight during the time of the eclipse but the pilots timed it and air traffic control routed us perfectly. It was amazing. Something I'll always remember.
