It's not often that I take domestic trips for the purposes of reviews, though this one was an exception. On Wednesday and Thursday I spent about 30 hours flying what ordinarily wouldn't be a very exciting routing. However, it allowed me to review American's brand new Flagship Lounge Chicago, American's Flagship First Dining New York…

If the American experienced surprised you I take that to mean it was rather pleasant 😉

@Lucky - not being a smart a$$ but is this the extent of the ORD Flagship review? I'm going to be travelling ORD - CDG in J next week and am curious if this lounge is worth trying out or not.

Thank you,
Nick

@ Nick in Chicago -- No, there's going to be an extensive review with ~85 pictures. It's the fourth installment in the trip report, and hope to have it up by tomorrow. 🙂

I asked a question in your "Ask Lucky," section yesterday regarding a strategy for companion travelers on AA getting same upgrade priority as me if they obtain Gold status while I have Platinum (which in this case would suck!). Did you see it?

Both ORD and JFK are AA hubs and AA has just a single daily flight between them! I couldn't believe it, went to aa.com to check and indeed it's true.

American, American, American,... When are you going to review Delta domestic and let us know your thoughts when compared to AA?

@grrizzly Yeah American flights are mainly to LGA from O’Hare. Delta and Jet Blue have non stop flights to JFK.
@Lucky I can’t wait for your in-depth reviews on Flagship Lounge in Chicago. Along with the Flagship dining in JFK as well.

Ben I think some Delta first class reviews and Transcontinental one reviews are definitely something you should do and some things that need an update on this blog. Especially now that you are a plat medallion.

Looking forward to hearing how the conversation went with the agent in the Flagship lounge @ORD when you rocked up with an ORD-JFK ticket and then a separate PNR ticket JFK-LAX. How much did it it take to gain lounge access?
