AAdvantage Business is American’s free small business rewards program, and if you’re eligible and fly American with any frequency, it’s absolutely worth participating (it essentially lets you earn one bonus Loyalty Point and AAdvantage mile per eligible dollar spent on flights, beyond what you usually earn).

Any way to get the 10k if you already opened the Citi AAdvantage Business card?
@ JamesW -- I would assume many people? You're saying this because you think most people are already members, or because you think they're not eligible?
@ Patrick -- Unfortunately not, since opening the card automatically gets you an AAdvantage Business account, and this is only for first time members.
What if you had closed a business card? If you apply for a new one with or without the bonus to rescue the stranded points from the first time, would a new number be assigned?
Only interested in reactivating the old points, nothing else.
@ Norita -- Once an AAdvantage number is tied to an AAdvantage Business account, it should stay linked. If you're talking about unlocking the ability to transfer points to an individual's AAdvantage account, then opening a Citi AAdvantage Business Card would accomplish that, even if you had the card in the past.
