Haha, I love it. I would assume that people have been conditioned to think airlines "price gouge" just as much as oil companies "price gouge"....if only airlines had the profits that oil companies did.
I would like to add that the removal of Ms. Kuhn's case to federal court has nothing to do with whether or not the case is/was frivolous; it was removed because the defendants filed a Notice of Removal based on diversity.
The author appears to be a journalist who has spent 20 minutes on the net reading other people's conjecture and fashioned it into a story, rebranding themselves as a 'travel writer' in the process.
Sadly this nonsense will beget further nonsense in the future.
