Flying used to be fun. Seats were comfortable, food was great, flight attendants legitimacy loved their job and always had a smile, and passengers were dressed up in suits.
Now, flying seems to be a chore dealing with obnoxious people around you.

The airlines all baselessly forced people to cover their faces for more than two years, and you didn't have a problem with that.
What they should’ve had her do was cover up the area from the top of her shoes to her knees; it looks like she was trying to use her socks to channel the leg warmers from that awful “Cats” musical.

Yes, but... I recently went through a box of old pictures and found a ticket stub from a trip in 1978 on Braniff in F, MEM-JFK, then a return leg on Delta in F, JFK-ATL-MEM. The cost: $275. Probably seemed like a large cost then (when I was a college student), but now I can only laugh. And the Braniff in those days served their food on fine china. Aah, memory lane...
I don't see anything wrong with her attire. Midriff is fine and she's nowhere near the point of flashing people. People wear comfortable clothes because they want to be comfortable, especially when they're on what has become a very UNcomfortable form of travel.
And just to call out all the "RETVRN" types yearning for the glory days of flying when people dressed up, be the change you want to see. Why shouldn't women wear yoga pants when you refuse to wear more than shorts and a t-shirt?

It is the current reality pretty often. I and my wife were treated badly at a lounge of an airline based at JFK T-4 while those with color were treated better.
Ah yes... Speakin' of 'mammaries'... That original belated Braniff.... Incredibly innovative airline with its 'End of the Plain Plane' marketing campaign which shook up our 1950's sensibilities with wildly colored/liveried planes. And even better taking it inside the cabin with the advent of
"the Air Strip" where their 'stewardesses' actually changed their Gucci designed uniforms which of course included loud 1960's colors/patterns, with the ultimate 'crown' of a clear plastic space suit helmet designed to protect their heads from the outside elements !!! ... May BN RIP from such a bygone era ( along with National's " Fly Me " & Continental's "We Really Move Our Tail for You ! " ) ..... Cherished 'mammary lane' indeed !
Why can't we all STFU ( this includes airline/airport staff as well as pax) ? Mind our own 'bidness' for the greater good of arriving at our destination in one piece IN peace !
Alternatively, we could add a 'Morality Police' to the TSA protocols. Once they 'approve' of conduct/attire, pax are good to go and there's no appeal from either pax or airline. Maybe even have a 'burka' style uni-sex garment available for those who wish to atone & continue to travel in compliance....

A few years ago to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary we went to a wonderful elegant hilltop town in Umbria. The hotel and its restaurant were storybook amazing. We dressed for our dinner, formal and befitting the effort put forth by the hotel and restaurant. A magical evening for us!
Then I looked around at other people who were dressed in jeans and T-shirts. Awful!
Worse now are the airlines. There is no dress code! Yoga pants and a T-shirt, welcome to First Class!
There is no will from the airlines to have dress code. Wear what you want. That’s the sad reality of today’s traveler.

If people are attractive I think revealing clothing is perfectly acceptable. The need for conservative clothing goes up exponentially the more unattractive one is. Standard hygiene rules apply to all, of course.
Oh yes, what an absolute fashion statement—walking around like she got lost on her way to the strip club (her place of employment). Truly inspirational.
