Totally unrelated to this post but perhaps someone can help. I have some expiring TK miles. Does anyone know how I can redeem Turkish miles on domestic United flights?

I've done this - and it's a great way to save $100 and try a new ski area. I hope to do it again this winter!

I did this last winter at Red and it was great. Worked with a points redemption as well which made things even cheaper.

Sun Valley tickets are 155$ a day this year so that's a big deal!

This used to be a great deal for Big White as the last flight of the day would land YLW at 12:01 (AM) giving a full day of skiing.
Now only two flights a day so half day gone before hitting the slope.

So many ways to work this. Looking at taking the sleeper train into Whitefish, MT from my little town the evening before; it arrives at 7:20AM. Ski the day for free with my boarding pass departing that day (shown on my phone?), fly to Seattle at 7PM that day. Should get breakfast and dinner on the train with my Roomette. No lounges or PP benefits at FCA according to lounge buddy or I could eat free there.

This could combine well with an Epic Pass trip in some places...
