Save 10% At Select Marriott Brands With Chase Offers

In the interest of full disclosure, One Mile at a Time earns a referral bonus for anyone that’s approved through some of the below links. These are the best publicly available offers that we have found for each card. Opinions expressed here are the author's alone, not those of the bank, credit card issuer, airlines or hotel chain, and have not been reviewed, approved or otherwise endorsed by any of these entities. I’ve written extensively about Amex Offers, where you can earn bonus points or receive statement credits for purchases with select retailers. This is an awesome opportunity to save, and collectively I get hundreds of dollars worth of value out of the program every year.

Chase has a similar program called Chase Offers, which I’ve been writing about lately, given that they have more and more offers. The program is still relatively new, and I’m increasingly finding the offers to be more valuable.

If you only have Chase personal cards then you can see these through the regular Chase website, while if you have a mix of personal and business cards, you can only see this through the Chase mobile app.

With the latest Chase Offers deal for hotel stays, you can save for stays at select Marriott brands. Specifically, you can save 10% at Four Points by Sheraton and Courtyard by Marriott.

There are some restrictions (note they may be different for your own offer, so check your account):

  • Valid through June 20, 2019
  • You need to spend a minimum of $100 to receive 10% back, and you can receive up to $20 back at Courtyard and up to $23 back at Four Points
  • Valid only at the particular brands mentioned, and not for stays at other Marriott brands
  • Not valid on third party bookings
  • The statement credit should post within 14 days of the transaction

Like all Chase Offers, this one is targeted.

What I love about Chase Offers is that the hotel bonuses aren’t limited to US stays, and also that you can earn the bonus on multiple cards.

The ideal situation is that you see this offer on the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, so you can earn 3x Ultimate Rewards points per dollar spent on your hotel stay, in addition to getting the discount.

This can be combined with virtually any other promotion Marriott is offering, including their current global promotion valid through June 4, 2019.

Other Chase Offers hotel promos

Just to recap, a couple of the other hotel deals we currently see through Chase Offers:

I’m happy I just remembered that last one. I took advantage of it on The World of Hyatt Credit Card for a stay a couple of weeks ago. Now I’m back at a Hyatt and see I have the offer on the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, so I might as well take advantage of it again.

While I’d rather earn 4x World of Hyatt points than 3x Ultimate Rewards points, I’d rather earn 3x Ultimate Rewards plus 15% back than 4x World of Hyatt points. 😉

Bottom line

I’m thrilled to see Chase Offers continue to add useful deals for hotel stays. It really is pretty awesome just how many deals you can stack nowadays to get a great return on your hotel stays.

If you haven’t yet maximized your Hyatt offer, keep in mind it expires Wednesday, so it’s a great option for any hotel stays you’re wrapping up.

Do you see this Marriott 15% offer on any of your Chase cards, and do you plan to use it?

Comments
  1. My CSR has an offer on Four Points with 15% cash back. Also I have another offer at Sheraton (10% though). Looks like it’s highly YMMV.

  2. Ben, a small correction – I do have a mix of business and personal Chase cards and I have been able to see offers on the website.

  3. For my CSR card, I see a (non-specific-subbrand) Sheraton/15% offer, but nothing else hotel-related.

Ben: I’m a little surprised at comments regarding Marroitt-branded properties. I saw the mention here on OMAAT regarding https://www.bonvoyed.com which I was previously unaware of. Given that the Marriott/Bonvoy marketing campaign is only 2-3 month old, it’s pretty amazing to see what I’ll term a “Marriott Hatred” site established so fast and for it to have attracted as many entries as quickly as it has. I originally found the “Bonvoyed” term-of-derision amusing, but then I remembered an incessant Marriott-sourced Timeshare-spamcalling operation that I had to suffer through for several months. 🙁

  4. My CSR has the Hyatt offer that expires tomorrow, but no Marriott offer. Kind of puts a bad taste in your mouth when you know others with the same card can see these offers.

  5. I suppose offers are tailored to your travel pattern, i.e. only for those brands you don’t frequent.
