The Amex Gold Card is one of American Express’ best cards for earning points. With 4x points at restaurants (up to $50,000 annually) and 4x points at U.S. supermarkets (up to $25,000 annually), earning Membership Rewards points is easy. The card also offers some credits that are potentially useful, which for many will help offset the annual fee.
