We’re staying at the InterContinental Grand Stanford here in Hong Kong and overall are quite pleased (unlike last time). The one thing I think is a bit misleading is the “Club InterContinental,” which is advertised as having “panoramic views of Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island,” and as featuring “breathtaking views.” Well, yes, the views are breathtaking given that this is Hong Kong, which has amazing views all around, but are these really “panoramic?” Last I checked panoramic meant unobstructed. Instead it faces a busy road and bridge which goes over the street.
Compare that to the great view from my room:
I know jealousy is one of the deadly sins but that's what I'm feeling right now.
Hong Kong's sky looks so grey in the winter
Great view from your room, must be spectacular at night.
