Atmos Rewards Ascent Card limited time welcome bonus
The Atmos Rewards Ascent Card is currently offering a limited time welcome bonus that can earn you up to 80,000 Atmos Rewards points plus a $99 Companion Fare upon completing minimum spending. Specifically:
- Earn 60,000 Atmos Rewards bonus points and a $99 Companion Fare (plus taxes and fees from $23) after spending $3,000 or more on purchases within the first 90 days
- Earn an additional 20,000 Atmos Rewards bonus points after spending a total of $5,000 or more on purchases within the same 90-day period
Based on my latest miles & points valuations, Atmos Rewards points are worth 1.5 cents each. That means the 80,000 bonus points are worth $1,200, and that doesn’t factor in the value of the $99 Companion Fare. Even if you’re not convinced on the long term value proposition of the card, I absolutely think it’s worth giving a try, given all the uses of Atmos Rewards points.
For those curious about the $99 Companion Fare, you just have to additionally pay taxes and fees from $23. The $99 Companion Fare is valid for 12 months from when it’s issued, for travel on Alaska or Hawaiian within the Americas, including for travel in the state of Hawaii. This is valid for tickets in economy, and all revenue economy fare classes qualify.

Atmos Rewards Ascent Card eligibility requirements
If you’re interested in applying for the Atmos Rewards Ascent Card, the good news is that the application restrictions are pretty limited. Specifically, you are eligible for this card if you have any of the other Atmos Rewards cards, whether personal or business.
So you’re eligible for this card even if you have the Atmos™ Rewards Summit Visa Infinite® Credit Card (learn more) or Atmos™ Rewards Visa Signature® Business Card (learn more).
Personally, I find Bank of America to be one of the most straightforward and easier card issuers to get approvals from, though that’s anecdotal, and I’ve had good luck with these cards.

- A first checked bag free on Alaska and Hawaiian flights for the cardmember and up to six companions on the same reservation when paying with the card; this also applies to authorized users (which you can add at no cost), as long as the card is used to pay for the ticket, even when not traveling with the primary cardmember
- Preferred boarding on Alaska flights for the cardmember and up to six companions on the same reservation when paying with the card; this also applies to authorized users (which you can add at no cost), as long as the card is used to pay for the ticket, even when not traveling with the primary cardmember

- $100 off an Alaska Lounge+ membership annually when you purchase the membership with your card

Atmos Rewards Ascent Card eligibility & bonus FAQs
Bottom line
The Atmos Rewards Ascent Card has brought back an elevated limited time welcome offer. With this, you can earn 80,000 Atmos Rewards points plus a $99 Companion Fare after completing minimum spending.
This card is absolutely worth picking up for the bonus, especially given that eligibility isn’t mutually exclusive with other Atmos Rewards cards. In the long run, the card can be worth it for the perks for travel on Alaska and Hawaiian, including the ability to earn a $99 Companion Fare.
Now, if I were to get only one Atmos Rewards credit card, I’d go for the Atmos Rewards Summit Card, which is my single favorite airline credit card. However, there’s no reason you couldn’t pick up both cards.
Anyone plan to pick up the Atmos Rewards Ascent Card with this great offer?
