Via The San Francisco Examiner:
Marilyn Hartman, the woman who desperately wants to catch a flight to Hawaii – regardless of whether she has a boarding pass or not, was again arrested at San Francisco International Airport for violating a court order to stay away from the airport and trespassing.
Hartman, 62, of San Francisco, who was released of her own recognizance after violating the court order the first time just last week was back in jail Wednesday after she was arrested at the Terminal 3 baggage claim, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
On March 18, she was arrested at an airport food court that is beyond the security checkpoint, prosecutors said at the time.
Hartman was ordered to stay away from the airport after three attempts in February to sneak aboard a flight to Hawaii in an attempt to go somewhere warm. On her first attempt, she made it all the way onto a plane and was only found out after the person who actually had the ticket for her seat showed up.
I’m not sure how much of it is true, but all the articles I’ve seen quote her as saying she has cancer and wants to live our her days in a warm climate like Hawaii. That being said, if she can’t afford a plane ticket to Hawaii I’m not sure how that would play out in practice (the article does state she has an apartment in San Francisco). Sad (and crazy) story, for sure.
So I might regret this, but Marilyn, if you can fly in a way that doesn’t violate your court orders, I’ll gladly book you an award ticket to Hawaii. Just email me.
(Tip of the hat to @palmerlaw)
UPDATE:
Ms. Hartman arrested again at SFO. Hopefully some local resources for mental health assistance for her.

Like Tony and Ivan, I find it very disturbing that she made it not only thru the TSA checkpoint, but also the boarding gate, and onto the plane without a boarding pass. If a mentally disturbed 62 year old woman can do this, what does that say about what a well trained and determined terrorist can do?
Whoever let her pass thru the TSA checkpoint without a boarding pass should be fired....
Awwww. Nice.
@Craig "Even if you do end up regretting it, you’re heart is in the right place and you won’t ever regret that."
Nicely said, Craig
What does it say about airport security & airline procedures that this lady not only made it airside but also had gotten on a plane?
P.S. Off-topic but this is disturbing -- http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/mar/27/london-city-airport-plane-engine-blew-up (had flown on LX RJ100 previously and actually enjoyed it... now, not sure I'd want to do it)
Your offer and intention contain within it the qualities of a mitzvah. Your heart is in the right place but some of the posters raise valid concerns.
After reading in earlier posts what you do for your parents, oy do I have a nice girl for you.
Beyond all the reviews of champagne and showers in first, it's posts like this that cause me to use your links for my App-O-Ramas. In the end, I trust you to do good with whatever the affiliates provide in return for my CC approvals and this post proves you will. Even if you do end up regretting it, you're heart is in the right place and you won't ever regret that.
I worry this will be my mother someday. I better take her on that vacation I promised sooner rather than later.

So how does someone get on a plane without a ticket?
"the article does state she has an apartment in San Francisco"
It's called rent control, chief
Lucky,
I wonder how many email you are going to get the goes like this:
Hi, my name is Marylin. Thanks you so much for the free ticket!!!
What is the meaning of life?
Banned from SFO? Well at least there are always nonstops from OAK and SJC...
There was some discussion at flyertalk, and my thoughts are that if someone can't reason well because of chemo fuzz or cancer metastasized to the brain, it is not really a kindness to ship her away from the doctors and social services she is getting in San Francisco, which are probably as good as she'll get anywhere in the world, much less in a place with a high homeless rate like Honolulu. In other words,...

In other words, I think she'd end up in jail there too, only further away from any friends or family she might have back home. You're a kind man but I really don't think you should go through this without a lot more thought. Good luck.
Nice :)
You won't regret it--no matter the outcome.
Nice offer Lucky. A fund has been set up for her, with $580 raised already for her.

Sad story. Very generous of you although I think the real issue here (without knowing more details) is that she needs proper mental health care. There are many ways to solve her problem without having to repeatedly break the law and this is a sign of someone who doesn't appear to be in a normal state of mind. I would be even venture to say no flight crew would let her fly on their aircraft at this point as she appears to be a danger to herself and to others.
That's nothing, try 20k miles in 11 days. That's when you know you like flying.
