Who to fly from Europe to India in J this summer?
I’m looking into booking BRU-DEL and BOM-BRU flights in J this summer.
Narrowing down, there are three options which work great time-wise and price-wise:
1) Turkish (A330/B777/A321)
2) Emirates (B777/A380)
3) British Airways (A321/B787/B777)
Living in Belgium I have a miles-and-more-account with about 25.000 miles (don’t travel that much), and an Iberia plus account with a couple of hundred avios.
Who would you chose?
BTW, price for British Airways first class is only 500 EUR above J, worth it?
For J class, I’d say TK is the best of the choices, with great catering and a massive lounge in IST. Seats are pretty spacious.
For EK, if its on their A380, its also a pretty good option, especially since you can access their bar at the back of the upper deck. Lounges at DXB are spacious and great as well. If it’s not on their A380, I’d go with TK.
For BA, their J is kinda squished together. Better than Y but nothing special. TK and EK will be better options. Their F is decent enough though, so its a solid option, especially if its only a 500EUR premium. However, I assume it’ll be a transit thru LHR, which isnt so fun.
My choices would probably be BA F, TK J/EK J A380, EK J 77W, BA J in that order.
