Which business class to choose?
I’m booking a flight from Munich to SFO. Wondering if anyone has an idea which airline has the best business class seats. I’m looking at these options….
Lufthansa (A340-600)
SAS (A340-300) via Copenhagen
KLM (787-900) via Amsterdam
British Airways (787-900) via Heathrow
If direct doesn’t matter, I’d personally go with the following:
(1) KLM (787) Reverse Herringbone
(2) SAS (A340) Staggered Vantage Style
(3) Lufthansa (A340) Just because its direct
(4) British Airways

If you are open to other options, Air France is a decent one, assuming they serve SFO with their new reverse herringbone business class.
Normally I’d also recommend Turkish via Istanbul but there’s that stupid electronics ban………..
I’m on the AF A380 to SFO in September on points, but I’m hoping availability opens up on the 777-2 reverse herringbone. I’ve been torn because I want to fly the A380 again, but not stoked on angled seats. Luckily it is a day time flight. Paid tickets are the same for the A380 and 777 and the 777 leaves later, which is nice.
