What First Class Products Offer the Possibility of Dining Across from your Travel Partner?
Asking the community, but Lucky, I also think this would be a great blog post. I think most people know about Cathay Pacific 777, but what other First Class products allow you to dine across from your significant other? And even within those airlines, what different airplanes within the fleet?
Singapore A380?
Etihad A380?
Etihad 777?
JAL 777?
etc.
Thanks!
Mike

Etihad’s A380 F allows for it. Ben actually had 3 people dine together on a flight once.
SQ’s A380 Suites.
I could be wrong but I think BA’s 789’s with F also allow for it.

For the F classes I have flown, Cathay 77W allows it as you said, Etihad A380 has it, Also their Diamond First class on the 77L, 77W, and widebody Airbus fleet also allows have the ottoman to allow dining with someone else, and I’ve done it with a cousin. BA’s 787-9 allows it as David said. On LH 747-8 first class, I’ve gotten to dine with my cousin using the ottoman from my seat, however, I’ve heard from many in the community that was not an option for them, so not sure what to tell you about LH. All of LH’s widebody aircraft have identical F class seats (except 747-400 which doesn’t have an F class) if I’m not mistaken so you should be good all across the board there. Those are the only seats I can tell you from personal experience that companion dining is there. I did fly Korean Air on their F class from LAX to ICN, though I never tried the companion dining, so I can provide no input there. Hope this helps in the meanwhile.
All Swiss first class cabins have this feature.
