Store luggage at AUH?

Store luggage at AUH?

I’m flying JFK-AUH-BOM in F with a 9+ hour layover at AUH and was planning on leaving the airport to see some sights. Is it possible to leave luggage somewhere in the airport so I don’t have to carry it with me? Do they offer this in either the EY departures or arrivals lounges?

Also, is it possible to use the chauffeur service “unofficially” while in transit like described in http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2015/01/29/how-to-still-get-emirates-chauffeur-on-alaska-award-tickets/ for Emirates?

    AUH has luggage storage.

Hi @Neel! In terms of the chauffeur, that likely won’t work. You can ask, of course, but Etihad seems to have a stricter system.

I actually have the same routing coming up! I am aiming those 9 hours I can go all the way to Dubai with Etihad’s bus [https://www.etihad.com/en-us/plan-and-book/book-etihad-express/] (still debating if this will actually work), since AUH has lots of great architecture….under construction, Dubai might be another alternative to kill time. So Dubai you could go check out the cool stuff there and the flamingo in Ras Al Khor sanctuary.
