    I had a horrible experience on Air China and I want to send a e-mail regarding compansation.
    Here is what happened.

    1. Booked and took a flight to Dandong operation by Air China from Seoul (CA702) / Nov. 8th
    2. Arrived at Beijing and not Dandong because of “Serious Mechinacal Problem in the plane.” (was only announced in Chinese and staff explained the sitation in english and chinese to everyone) – Don’t know why they chose a airport 400miles away instead of three airport closer to Dandong.
    3. Arrived in Beijing around 00AM on Nov. 9th and got off to get on a shuttle bus.
    4. Left stuck in the shuttle bus in Beijing for 40 min with no clear reason why we were not moving.
    5. After immigration progress there was no sign telling us where our luggage was coming out and we had to run around to find our bags.
    6. No staff anywhere to help the 150 people lost in Beijing.
    7. Found a Transit Hotel booth and one staff there post told us to go to hotel and come back at 6am to book a flight a Dandong.
    8. Due to a meeting schedule at Dandong, I went to International Duty Manager desk and asked for a flight to Dandong. She told me to come back at 6AM. No sense of ownership and her serviced looked as if she was working for competing company.
    9. After a struggle finally won a ticket to Shenyang but was told find and pay my way to Dandong (around 180km from Shenyang to Dandong).
    10. Was given a ride to hotel but hotel asked 300RMB to book another room for us. (told us that we were given only one room for two people under the policy of Air China) We asked to write a receipt saying that it is Air China’s policy but staff denied. Instead I recorded the process to keep it as an evidence.
    11. Room was big but cold and very old.

    on Nov 9th I took a flight to Shenyang and missed a meeting and went to the meeting set up in the evening. I called CA and they told me to write a complaint on a e-mail and also write what kind of compansation I want.

    In this kind of situation what is a reasonable request for compansation?
