QR or QF in F on A380

    Hi Lucky,

I scored myself two tickets for myself and my wife on that BA mistake fare. I have two different routings booked, one DXB-DOH-LHR, specifically for the Qatar A380, and then one DXB-LHR in a Qantas A380. All in F, all day flights, and the timings are basically the same. We are connecting onto a BA A380 to LAX.

Which would you pick? I’ve been in J on both these planes so I’ve seen the QR bar, and I transit through DOH all the time and am OWE so the airport and the lounge is nothing new there. I haven’t been in the EK F lounge in DXB that Qantas uses before.

    Cheers,

    Cameron

Toughie. If you hadn’t done either ground experience before I would have said Qatar Airways, since I ultimately prefer their onboard bar and food. That being said, if you’ve done the Qatar Airways onboard bar and their ground experience in Doha before, I might do Qantas for the Emirates first class ground experience in Dubai if I were you.

Personally, having done them both, I’d choose Qatar.
